Why did I not receive my attachment from my web form?

There are several reasons you might not receive attachments from web forms. Fortunately, we have tried to eliminate most of the potential problems.

However, there are a few problems outside of our control:

  1. Email Providers – Many email providers only allow 10MB attachments whereas others allow up to 25MB.

    This creates a problem because if you are sending the same email with a 15MB attachment to two people, one with a @gmail.com address and another with an @hotmail.com address, only the person with the Gmail address would receive it. This is because Gmail allows up to 25MB whereas Hotmail only allows 10MB.

  2. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) – Similar to email providers, many ISPs have limits on the size of the files transmitted across the wire. This can get more complicated because the problems can vary from the attachment being stripped from the email to the email being blocked altogether with no way of tracking it.

To create a link, you need to click on the Link button. It will bring up a popup window, in the URL field, you will enter the actual hyperlink, and in the link text field you will add the text that will be linked. You also have the option to check the box next to ‘Open link in a new tab’ option. This will open the link in a new browser tab. It’s recommended that you use this option if you are linking to an external site.

WordPress also allows you to quickly link to posts and pages that you have published on your own website by using the content search feature.

Simply click on ‘Or link to existing content’ option and WordPress will show you recent content and a search field.

You can search for a post or scroll down to find it from the list. You need to click on the post title to select it and then click on Add or Update Link button.

Claim Google Business Listing If You Didn’t Receive Your Postcard

We have heard that sometimes customers never receive their Google Places validation postcard from Google. This postcard is what you need in order for Google to validate that you are a legitimate business with an office that can receive mail.

However, whenever this postcard doesn’t make it to your office, here is another way to validate:

First, visit this Google Help article.

Next, in the top right corner click on “Fix Issue” > “Verification” > “I requested my postcard more than 14 days ago”

Lastly, follow the on-screen instructions to validate your business. This will include taking pictures of your office (inside and out) in order to prove that you are a real business.
